You likely know someone who is quick to smile, shows genuine care, and shares their joy with those around them.

You probably also know someone that is quite the opposite. Someone who is negative, never smiles, and just seems totally miserable.

Naturally, we have things in life that sometimes affect our disposition, but regardless of what is happening in life, we have to find the joy from Jesus. Easier said than done, but we still can’t give in or give up. We must make the decision repeatedly, until it becomes a habit to automatically seek God. It’s not going to happen overnight or maybe even ever, but that doesn’t mean you stop trying. Don’t let Satan have the upper hand. Don’t give up the fight. Jesus has given us power through Him, that is “sharper than a two-edged sword.”

“And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:”

Ephesians 6:17
