Where is Your Focus?

Do you find yourself focusing on just one thing, to the point of compulsion and even beyond?

When our main focus isn’t on God, then the rest of our priorities will become out of order. When we find ourselves focusing on something where all our thoughts, focus, time, and even money goes, take notice. Obviously, we all have mortgages, bills to pay, kids to feed(a really large bill), etc. But, just stop and ask God if there is an area that needs to change. Listen to His still voice, we oftentimes just have to slow down to listen. Stop. Breathe. Listen. Pray.

“Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon the earth, where moth and rust consume, and where thieves break through and steal: but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth consume, and where thieves do not break through nor steal: for where thy treasure is, there will thy heart be also.”
