What Do You Worry About?

That answer is going to be different depending on who you ask. We aren’t the same and often, our worries are different as well. Before we go on a trip, my husband will go through the house and property, making sure everything is locked up, cameras on, safety measures in place etc.
He is being a good husband and is doing what he feels directed to do. It’s when we take those thoughts, put them up on a pedestal and focus on them, instead of God, that we turn those thoughts into worries.
I tend to struggle with health anxiety. It is good to go for your checkups and get things checked out. It’s when I take those thoughts and put the focus on them instead of God that they can turn from something good to a worry that will fester. It is vital to consistently take our thoughts to God. Let Him check them out. Don’t be quick to do all the talking, but stop, be still, and ask God to speak to you, to guide you.
Wait and Listen.
“Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and will show thee great things, and difficult, which thou knowest not.”
Jeremiah 33:3
