Let God Take The Reins

Who has control in your life? Naturally, we have to make decisions every day. Some minor and some important, but they can have lasting effects all the same. We must let God have total and complete control in our lives, we need Him to guide us in every decision, regardless of how minut.  

When we start trying to take that control, we need to recognize that we actually aren’t in control at all. Nor should we want to be. God is much smarter and knowing than we could ever imagine, He is God, creator of us and our universe, Our Saviour. Why wouldn’t we want Him to be in control?

Do you remember when as a child or even as an adult, when you were determined to make a decision that you were stubborn on and didn’t pray about it because you just thought you knew it all? That is part of being human, our flesh, our broken world trying to reign, but God is still in control, He has the ultimate power. Don’tbe stubborn, yielding to God isn’t quitting, but is actually the first step to freedom. We know God’s Will is what is best for us. Pray for God’s Will to be done. That doesn’t mean not taking your requests and thoughts to God, but to relinquish control completely to God and ask Him to guide you.

“Commit thy works unto Jehovah, And thy purposes shall be established. Jehovah hath made everything for its own end; Yea, even the wicked for the day of evil.”
