Follow the Leader

While every team needs a leader, every team must also have followers. Too many leaders and your team is quickly headed into a downward spiral. Ensure that as a leader, you are developing and assisting your team to grow into leaders, but they are still responsible to do their part. Too often we are going in different directions and not even on the same book—must less the same page. Have you ever been in a situation whereby one boss is telling you to do one thing and another is telling you something completely different? And if you ask about it, you are the one questioned! Don’t put your team in that predicament. Communicate to ensure everyone knows how and what needs to be done, so you’re always on the same page.

The liberal soul shall be made fat; And he that watereth shall be watered also himself.

Proverbs 11:25
