Don’t Forget The Reason You’re Here.

One of the main questions in life: why am I here? What is my purpose? Honestly, I think we all have the same purpose, to lead others to Christ. How we do that will be in completely different ways, because we are all uniquely different.  I don’t think God lays out our entire life in front of us,  He wants us to trust Him and lean on Him. We don’t need to know the things we don’t need to know. I have a bad habit of being the one who looks up the movie's ending beforehand so there aren’t any surprises, that’s me, but I’m working on it (sort of). Don’t worry about the stuff that just doesn’t matter. God has it all under control, and He doesn’t have to give us a play by play, and that is probably just as well. If I calculated up how much time each day was spent on thoughts and separated them into categories, I would be dejected by how much time I have wasted on worrying. And it is for naught. I’m not going to get that time back, so why do I give into the flesh and listen to Satan? This is a constant decision I have to make, to think on things above. I have to ensure what I put in my mind is what is pleasing to God. If you’re like me, don’t let anxiety fester in you. Or maybe you have a different weakness, but with the same consequences. If my focus isn’t on God first, then I will just end up on a destructive path and I do not want that for me or for you.

“Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost its savor, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out and trodden under foot of men.”

Matthew 5:13
