All Alone?

Do you ever feel like you’re all alone, even though people may be all around you?
You may put on your fake smile, but inside you’re scared and lonely?
A panic swells up inside of you, needing to escape, an overwhelming urge to cry and run at the same time? Sometimes, there is no escaping ourselves, our own fears that can turn from molehills into mountains, if we allow it. Eventually, we must face our fears, terrifying though it can be, but we often feel better once we do. The devil takes pleasure in stirring up our fears, and he is good at it too.
We can’t let him win, we have to seek God constantly because without God, we are nothing. With God we have hope, power and authority, through Him.
In Luke 10, God reminds us,
“Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you.”
We are not alone in this world, we have Jesus to rely and call upon. He is there waiting, it is up to us to seek Him.
“Thou believest that God is one; thou doest well: the demons also believe, and shudder.”
James 2:19
