A Wandering We Will Go

No, I’m not talking about physically wandering, but your mental wandering.

Do you ever find your mind wandering about things that aren’t in line with God’s Word, even when you’re trying to stay focused? Maybe you find yourself losing focus  praying or when you’re in church or even listening to your spouse. You find yourself being pulled off course. We quickly go from promising ourselves we are going to do this or never do this, and then five minutes later we are struggling again. This is part of life, since we live in a broken world. We are going to have struggles, setbacks and failures. Maybe even many. But how you react and how you bounce back will help determine where you end up. So dust yourself off, stay on course, and focus where you need to go. When you find yourself wandering, which you will, get back up, dust yourself off, and try again.

“For a righteous man falleth seven times, and riseth up again; But the wicked are overthrown by calamity.”

Proverbs 24:16
